2 Days Jinja Adventure Safari is a fun-filled and adrenaline-rush adventure tailored for small family parties and solo travelers alike. Bucket-list highlights on this tour include a ziplining experience in the canopies of Mabira Forest, white water rafting on river Nile and boat cruise to the source of river Nile. In between these experiences and time allowing, stretch your adventure appetite and kayak and tube on the quite water rapids on the Nile or take a quad biking experience across the rural villages to appreciate the humble countryside.

The 2 Days Jinja Adventure Safari is ready to go (and better still, can be tailored to your interests) from Entebbe, Kampala and Jinja and suitable for solo and family parties with a minimum age of at least 12 yrs requirement for rafting. The adventure begins with a guided ziplining experience across the canopies of Mabira Forest located some 60km east of Kampala city on the way to Jinja. In Jinja the adventure includes, white rafting, boat cruise to the Nile. Optional activities as time allows include, kayaking, tubing on the Nile, and Quad biking.
Day One: Ziplining, Skywalk in Mabira Forest and a Boat cruise to the Source of the Nile
The 2 Days Jinja Adventure safari begins with an early pick from your hotel or residence by our guide driver to head onto Jinja but with a check-in at Griffins Falls in Mabira Forest. You will be received by adventure guides and skywalk/ziplining captains where after a short safety briefing you will lead on an experience. Ziplining at Mabira includes 5platforms elevated across the canopies of a primary forest section along Musamya river in Mabira Forest. The adventure begins with a gentle walk across a mature forest connecting you to the lush rainforest interior and revealing the stunning Griffin Falls. As you glide through the forest canopies, you will have chances to encounter various primates, and excellent birdlife. The total adventure duration lasts between 3-4hrs
Options: Combine a ziplining with a cycling tour in the forests to make it a full day (6hrs) adventure. The cycling trail follows a gentle terrain through primary forest section where primates and birdlife occur extending through sugar cane estates and humble villages.
After a late lunch drive onto to Jinja town.
After a check in at your hotel, you will head out on a lazy boat cruise safari to the exact spot where the world’s longest river – Nile begins its long trek.

Day Two: White Water rafting Experience on the Nile and transfer to Kampala or Entebbe
After a fresh breakfast, you will meet up your white-water raft guides that take you through the registration, change of clothing and thereafter a safety briefing about the entire adventure.
Your guide crew will take you an introductory session on the quite section of the Nile, meet up the entire team comprising of experience guides, rescue rafts, safety kayaks and photographers. Here you will be briefed extensively on rope handling, pedaling techniques and the most important of all – how to work as a team!
Action will take you along various rapids classified from Grade 3-5 according to their difficulty. The action duration lasts up to 4-6hrs and will be interrupted by rest sessions in between to have a cold beer on the Nile, snack or to appreciate varied wildlife on the river banks. Thereafter, your will guide will pick you up for a transfer to Kampala or Entebbe.
